This collection is a reflection of my life in Portugal.
It speaks of how these thirty years influenced and shaped me.
I immersed myself in this country - alternately embracing or rejecting it - creating in return an artistic vocabulary that expresses diverse emotions; at times subordinate and reserved, yet just as often nostalgic or emotional. A history of happy moments , be they factual or fictional.
To visualise this evolution, I let an axis of two dimensions guide me: large flat shapes and structures evoke vibrations that affect me in the way Fado does.
